The conclusion of the Russian-Ukrainian talks – Juventud Rebeldy

There is also the first deputy head of the Kyiv delegation in the contact group for resolving the situation in Donbass, Andrei Kostin; Representative Rustam Amirov; and Deputy Foreign Minister Nikolai Tuchitsky.

On Monday, Aragamia said that in the talks Ukraine needed to calmly listen and evaluate Moscow’s proposals, taking into account their impact on the country and its citizens.

Russia launched a military operation on February 24 in the Donbass Autonomous Region of Ukraine, after the authorities of the Donetsk (DPR) and Lugansk (PRL) republics requested help to repel the aggression of Kyiv.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, in a televised address, stated that the aim of the operation was to protect the Donbass population from the abuses and genocide committed by Kyiv over the past eight years and to disarm Ukraine, while ensuring that the Russian offensive was specifically aimed at military and not civilian points.

The government of Ukraine severed diplomatic relations with Moscow, imposed martial law in the country, and demanded financial and humanitarian assistance from the international community, while demanding sanctions and isolation of Russia by all means and formulas.

Putin said that Russia is not planning to occupy Ukrainian lands, but rather to defend the right of the Ukrainian peoples to self-determination.
