The capital of Entre Ríos is preparing to welcome more than 530 forensic science professionals from all over the country and Latin America to the First International Congress of Forensic Sciences. It is sponsored by the Government of Entre Ríos, through the Ministry of Security, Justice and Regional Police.

This conference will bring together experts in various disciplines, such as law, entomology, criminology and road accidents.

“In a context where scientific evidence is increasingly important to solve complex cases, this conference is presented as a unique opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences. The value of the test is demonstrated by the objectivity of the forensic sciences on which it is based. From the scene, “from the incident to the laboratory, these disciplines play a fundamental role in the search for the truth,” explained Alejandra Perón, Director of the Criminal Sciences Division of the Entre Ríos Police.

The broad invitation, which includes representatives from all Argentine provinces, federal security forces and professionals from countries such as Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, Venezuela, Peru and Panama, demonstrates the importance and impact of this meeting.

The conference will address the latest developments in forensic science, including the use of emerging technologies and new trends in criminal investigation. Participants will be able to gain first-hand insight into the latest research and discuss the challenges facing the scientific community today.

The organization of the conference is made possible thanks to the support of the Ministry of Security and Justice, the Entre Ríos Police Command and various academic institutions. In addition, it is sponsored by leading companies in the sector, which will offer their expertise and technologies.
