Ten countries participate in the new edition of the Santander Explorer Entrepreneurship Program

Banco Santander, along with the International Center for Entrepreneurship Santander (Cise), has launched the 16th edition of the Explorer Program for Youth Entrepreneurship for Pre-Incubation Ventures, which the United States and Germany will join this year, bringing the number of participating countries to ten. As stated by the bank through a press release.

Explorer, which has a duration of 12 weeks, allows participants to connect with the international community, receive online and face-to-face training using a “learning by doing” methodology, mentorship by experts, uncover their business idea and develop skills to transform it into a viable and sustainable solution. The registration period ends on December 13th.

Since 2009, nearly 10,000 projects have participated from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Spain, Portugal, the United Kingdom and Uruguay. In the case of Spain, about 7,000 projects took part.

In the latest edition, a total of 1,045 entrepreneurial ideas from 75 universities signed up for this program to access tools and opportunities to network with other professionals. In addition, the bank highlights that the female turnout was 42.6%, exceeding the previous call average, which was around 30%.
