A fresh contract win has pushed Tekmar's order intake past £50m since last July, fuelling hopes of a swift recovery from 2025's losses.
Tekmar Group (AIM: TGP) has racked up more than £50m in new orders since July last year after confirming another contract win this week, with the £20m-capitalised offshore energy specialist now shaping up for a marked recovery in trading. Shares in the group currently change hands at 15p, with some in the market suggesting they could climb as high as 20p, a potential gain of roughly a third.
The renewed optimism stems directly from the pace of order intake. Tekmar, which supplies asset protection technology and services to the global offshore energy sector, has been steadily rebuilding its order book, and the latest contract announcement adds to a run of wins that analysts believe signals the group is turning a corner after a difficult 2025.

Tekmar endured operating losses in 2025, a period that tested the resilience of the small-cap group as it navigated a tougher market for offshore infrastructure work. The subsequent rebuilding of its order book, now standing at over £50m in cumulative new business since July last year, is being viewed as tangible evidence that trading conditions are improving.
The current financial year, which runs to the end of next month, is expected to show the clearest sign yet of that turnaround, with the swelling order book acting as a leading indicator of revenues and profitability to come.
Investors will be watching for further contract announcements and, in due course, full-year results to confirm whether the order book momentum translates into a return to profitable trading, with the share price seen by some as having scope to move from 15p towards 20p should the recovery continue on its current trajectory.
