Flood alerts have been issued across the UK following the impact of Storm Agnes. This is the first named storm of the season and has caused travel disruption and power outages across the country. Chaos is expected to continue as floods are expected to cause problems for thousands of people. According to the Met Office, it is expected to be mostly sunny today as the storm moves away. However, heavy rain is expected tonight, and flood alerts have been issued for England, Scotland and Wales. Possible coastal flooding and tidal flooding are expected on the Wye estuary in Gloucestershire on Saturday, on parts of the north-west and south-west coasts of England on Saturday and Sunday, and on the north-east coast of England on Saturday.
