Sol Amato: Transforming lives through emotional well-being

How did your office come about?

My name is Sol, I have a degree in Psychology from UBA, where I received a scholarship for my academic performance. After training that included earning a graduate degree at the Fernando Ulloa Foundation and entering the world of existential coaching and clinical hypnosis, I decided to start my own practice. The pandemic has accelerated my social media presence, where I share meditation messages and emotional well-being tools.

How do you position yourself in the medium term?

In the medium term, my goal is to expand my influence through emotional management courses and workshops, as well as supporting the growth of other psychologists. I want to contribute to changing the perception of psychology in society and provide accessible tools for emotional self-care.

What services do you provide?

I offer private consultations online and in person at my office in Palermo, Buenos Aires. Additionally, I’m launching a new program called The Path to Wellbeing, which provides extensive support with practical resources for anxiety and emotional management, including e-books, audio and video courses, and podcasts. I work with a multidisciplinary team including doctors, nutritionists and physical trainers to ensure a holistic approach to my patients’ well-being.

What distinguishes you from other professionals?

I am distinguished by my comprehensive and personal approach to psychotherapy. I do not follow a set trend, but rather adapt my style to my patients’ needs and circumstances. In addition, my collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and my commitment to my clients’ personal growth are aspects that set me apart in this field.

If you were starting over, what would you do differently?

If I could start over, I would make more use of my social networks from my school days. I realize that sometimes we focus on work that we’re not fully passionate about and miss opportunities to develop our true passion. Psychology is my passion, and every time I can positively impact someone’s life, I feel so happy that it drives me to continue growing and learning every day.
