Novak Djokovic, co-founder of a company that treats Covid – tennis – sports

Tennis number one Novak Djokovicrecently kicked out of Australia On Wednesday, the company director explained that after a court dispute over his vaccination status, he is the co-founder and majority shareholder of the biotech company working to treat the coronavirus.

“He is one of the founders of my company, which was founded in June 2020,” Ivan Lonkarevich, director of Danish company Quantpures, told AFP.

The biotech company’s bylaws show that Djokovic and his wife Jelena own 80 percent of QuantBioRes, which employs about 20 people in Denmark, Slovenia, Australia and the United Kingdom.

Company’s goal

“Our goal is to develop a new technology to combat resistant viruses and bacteria, and we decided to use Covid as a demonstration,” he explained.

“If we can do that with Covid-19, we can do it with all the other viruses,” he added. Lunkarvich said that the association plans to launch clinical trials in Britain in the middle of this year.

Novak Djokovic, who had not been vaccinated against covid-19, did not meet the vaccination requirements according to the full schedule set by Australia and his visa was cancelled.
