The Ministry of Education, led by Andrea Centurion through the Coordination of Scientific and Technological Activities of Youth (ACTJ), reported that students Misael Soto Acosta and Ana Clara Barros Roldan, of ENET No. 1 Pre-University “Professor Vicente García Aguilera”, are in the 2022 Junior Science Olympiad at the level 2, advised by Professor Omar Soto.

The Olympiad organized by UNCUYO University (Mendoza), jointly with the Ministry of Education of the nation, constitutes a program whose main objective is to strengthen calls in young people for experimental science and an appreciation of scientific work from an early age. In addition, it seeks to encourage teachers to constantly update the content, in a way that helps to collaborate with the education system in improving science teaching.

Students participating in various cases at the university and provincial level, passed through theoretical and practical tests, and achieved excellent results, which allowed them to reach the national instance, representing Catamarca in the province of Mendoza, where student Misael Soto Acosta took second place.
