Meryl Streep has been awarded the 2023 Princess of Asturias Art Prize, the foundation announced Wednesday. The actress takes over from singer Carmen Linares and dancer and choreographer María Bagis, who received the same distinction in 2022. A total of 44 nominees from 20 nationalities chose the honor.
