Matas Campodnico has been appointed President of Dow Argentina and Southern Latin America

Dow, a global materials science company, today announced the appointment of Matas Campodnico as the new head of its operations in Argentina and the Southern Region of Latin America (Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay) as of June 2022.

On the other hand, Campodnico retains the position of Director of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability for Latin America which he has been practicing since 2017.

who appointed him, Campodnico will succeed Diego Ordóez and be Responsible for promoting work prioritization and positioning Dow in Argentina and other countries in the southern region.

In turn, Ordweez will take over the presidency of Dow Canada from June 2022.

ABOUT MATIAS CAMPONIC

Campodnico joined Dow in 2011 as Argentina’s Director of Government Affairs. In 2013, he was transferred to Dow’s US headquarters, where he worked for four years coordinating the corporate agenda for the company’s global CEO, including relationships with clients, employees, associations, governments and the media, as well as its participation in the World Economic Forum organizing the Summit. Annual in Davos (Switzerland), alliance with the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

In June 2017, he returned to Latin America and settled in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Graduated from University of Buenos Aires, Campodnico, MA in International Relations from King’s College London (London, 2005) and Postgraduate Studies on Oil and Gas Regulatory Framework (UBA, 2009). In 2003 he was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship by the US State Department and in 2004 a Chevening Fellowship by the British Foreign Office.
