Maravilla Martinez will fight again in the United States

The Argentine boxer confirmed that he will return to the box on the American continent, where he has already started a work program in the gym, after the holidays he was spending in Argentina.

Boxer Sergio Martinez, the former WBC middleweight belt owner who returned to the ring after his retirement, will be tested in vain in his intentions to return to the spotlight, with the idea of being world champion.

“I’m back in the gym, I arrived from Argentina on July 4th, and I went on vacation because I worked a lot in Argentina,” Martinez said in an interview with Directv Sports.

The man from Buenos Aires confirmed that the fight will be in the United States, still without a date or competition, but it will be in October, and that he has already started working in the gym and above the track as well.

“I came back to the gym with a lot of hitting and sticking,” said the Quilmes-born, Spain-based boxer.

Martinez, who last fought in New York against Puerto Rico Miguel Couto, where he lost his world title, returned to boxing after six years in Spain.

Since then, Maravilla has fought four battles in Spain, with the same number of victories.

And the final victory in Madrid, over Briton Macaulay McGowan, was, on paper, by unanimous decision.
