Lewis tested negative for Covid-19 on Wednesday before his self-isolation period ended in Bahrain. This enabled him to travel to Abu Dhabi on Thursday afternoon, and he underwent a negative test upon arrival.
So Lewis has completed the protocols required by the FIA to get into the circuit and will be able to compete in the race weekend. “George Russell will return to Williams Racing in the final event of the 2020 season.”
