Hidalgo cyclist Francisco Lara Carvajal returns to the United States after a year, where he will be in various competitions throughout the North American territory.
In an exclusive interview with El Sol de Hidalgo, from Orizabetta’s home country, Ixmiquilpan, he indicated that his stay would extend to a month and a half, and would be longer, compared to what was done a year ago, in which it was only a few weeks.
Lara Carvajal indicated that there will be several tests in the form of the sprint, and the like, that will be held in the American Federation, which will take him through various points in the northern part of that country.
“It’s my second year there, and I’ll be with the Destroy Cycling Club team. In 2022 it was a little difficult for me, because it was the first time, but now I feel more prepared. I’m going and what I’m going to face,” he said.
He added that unlike duels in Mexico, where the tracks are more technical, in the United States everything is decided in physical strength.
He explained, “There is to give everything, because that is the nature of these competitions, but now we already have this experience, and I think we can achieve better results than in previous occasions.”
ixmiquilpense’s last showing at the international level was at the Vuelta Independencia Nacional, held in the Dominican Republic, which was among the top positions on the first and last stage.
After that, he focused on training some Entity cyclists who will participate in the National Konadi Games.
