La Paz Beach Volleyball Tour – El Sudcaliforniano

La Paz, Baja California Sur (OEM-Informex). – Representative couples from the United States dominated the NORCECA 2022 Beach Volleyball Tour, held at the Malecon in La Paz, a tournament enjoyed by thousands of people during three days of activities.

In the men’s final, American duo Corey Evans and William Kolinsek imposed conditions by defeating Mexicans Juan Vergne and Miguel Sarabia in two sets, 21-19, 21-17, and took the gold medal.

For their part, Caitlin Malaney and Karlie Kahn of the United States came from behind to prevail in close and opposing three sets over Puerto Rican duo Maria Gonzalez and Alanis Navas, who began winning the first set 21-19, and was able to equalize the actions of the American couple by winning the second set with enthusiasm 23-21 , as well as the third and final 15-8, to suspend the gold medal.

Puerto Rico took the men’s bronze with Kevin Gutierrez and Jose Rivera who started losing in the first set 16-21 against Canadian duo Alex Russell and
