The Cuban Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) announced this Monday that the World Health Organization has classified Micron as an alternative “of concern”, and given this scenario, Cuba has decided to implement new measures to strengthen the monitoring of international travelers.

The health entity reported that from December 4, travelers from: South Africa, Lesotho, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Namibia, Malawi and Eswatini (formerly Swaziland) will have to meet specific requirements when entering the country.

They must provide at the point of entry a complete schedule of vaccination, as well as the negative result of RT-PCR that was performed no later than 72 hours before the flight.
