Happiness, Well-being and Human Development: Topics to be Covered in the ULS Chair

On August 10, a new session of the Raúl Petran Naccari Chair will begin and, as usual, an annual theme from different perspectives will be taken up with the guest committees. On this occasion, the theme for 2022 will be “Mapping Happiness: Well-Being and Human Development”, and there will be five monthly panel discussions, starting August 10 at 3:00 pm. With the activity “Happiness, Sustainability and Psychology: Key Aspects of Human Development for the Development of Happiness”.

This introductory activity will include a presentation and conversation by Monica López Hernando, Psychologist specializing in happiness, Director of the Wellness Institute and Board Member of the Vivir + Feliz Foundation; Hector Bogino Igana, PhD in Education, Professor of Biology and Natural Sciences and Director of the Department of Education at ULS. This committee will receive direction and oversight from Carola Espinosa Orellana, ULS Director of Strategic Communications.

The following activities will be: rethinking paradigms in primary education; Explore happiness and human development and its indicators around the world. Analysis of innovation in the service of humanity and its development. healthy old age, happy old age; culture and human development. All activities will be broadcast on ULS – the YouTube channel linked to the media in a synchronized manner to enhance audience engagement with guests and will be available later on the same channel.
