Genshin Impact players no longer want to search for new character banners

HoYoverse Genshin Impact players want to add more content to the endgame, and many believe it no longer makes sense to add new characters.

Genshin Impact 4.4 update is just around the corner, and Travelers will soon be able to spend their Protogems on the next banner. Xianyun (Cloud Preserver) and Gaming both lead the banners for 4.4, but for many Genshin Impact players, the hype for a new character has diminished.

This is largely due to the lack of replayable content at the end of the game. In fact, once you've completed the main story and side quests, there's very little to do in the world of Teyvat. Therefore, many Genshin Impact players want HoYoverse to address this issue in a new update.

Genshin Impact players are asking for more endgame content

“I've been playing for two years and this is the first time I feel like there's no point in creating new characters.“, A Genshin Impact player explains on Reddit. “I want to get Xiao, Jiming, and Nahida, but I feel like they have nothing to do with anything“.

The player then explained how long it took to develop all the characters and how little had been achieved in terms of content. “It will take a month to build each character to generate 2 days of open world content and 30 minutes of Abyss each month. Building a character takes about 50 times longer than playing them.“.

Since the release of Genshin Impact, many travelers have asked HoYoverse to add more replayable endgame content. Labyrinthe Warriors was a huge hit with the community when it launched in version 2.2, and players have been eager for it to return ever since.

The event tasked players with venturing into the Onmyou Mystic Chamber, a unique area that hides many dangers within. In addition to the usual enemies, this dungeon had many traps that travelers had to avoid.

Currently, the endgame is locked after grinding Abyss Spiral and Artifact. This content may be challenging for new players. But for those who have played Genshin since its release and pushed their characters to the limit, it can be quite trivial.
