FOX Sports, the exclusive US headquarters for the 2022 World Baseball Championship

A few days before its 25th World Championship airs, FOX Sports has announced an exclusive multi-platform deal to bring the 2023 Baseball Classic to fans in the United States. The tournament will kick off on March 7 with matches in Japan, Taiwan and the United States.

Among the players who have expressed their intention to participate in the World Baseball Classic are Pete Alonso, Tim Anderson, Jose Altov, Muki Bets, Julio Urreas, Brice Harper, Carlos Correa, Mike Trout and Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

Led by Mark DeRosa, who played at WBC 2009, the coaching staff includes USA Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr. (hitting coach) and five-time World Championship winner Andy Pettit (shooting coach).
