European countries insist on rearming Ukraine by sending drones

Brussels, February 15 (Prensa Latina) Several European countries insisted on rearming Ukraine, and today announced the sending of one million drones to that country, amid an extraordinary meeting of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

A group of allies have come together with the aim of supplying Kiev with one million drones, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced during the forum in the capital.

The statements of the Supreme Leader of NATO are well known on the eve of tomorrow's celebration of the Munich Security Conference, where President Vladimir Putin warned in 2007 of the dangerous approach of that bloc to the Russian border.

Moscow has indicated on several occasions that attempts to rearm Ukraine would only prolong the conflict, as dozens of armored vehicles, tanks, howitzers and rocket launchers have already been destroyed, as well as Soviet-made fighter aircraft sent by the West to that country.

On February 22, 2022, President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a military operation to protect the population of the rebellious Donbas region, as well as to demilitarize and cleanse Ukraine of Nazism.

Military observers say that the confrontation became the first due to its scale and the use of drones.

Ukraine initially maintained a certain advantage, but during the conflict, Russia applied new strategies that now place it as a leader in this area, especially in the use of so-called kamikaze drones, according to comments in the local press.

According to the digital media “Vzglyad”, the Ukrainian conflict showed that with the concentration of drones on the battlefield, the theater of operations becomes transparent, as the possibility of concentrating forces without the knowledge of the other side is lost.
