The Cuban party leader said that the random bombings against this population claimed the lives of tens of thousands of children, women, the elderly and innocent people.

For his part, the Foreign Minister of the Caribbean island, Bruno Rodriguez, used the same social media network to emphasize his country's position of permanent condemnation of the destruction of 50 percent of Gaza's infrastructure.

Rodriguez explained that during the four months of the siege, the so-called Israeli Defense Forces destroyed 30 hospitals, 53 primary health care centers, 93 educational centers, 122 mosques, three churches, 130 government buildings, and 65,000 homes.

Cuba insisted on urgently searching for a broad, just and lasting solution to this conflict that has been going on for more than 70 years and which prevents the Palestinian people from exercising their right to self-determination and establishing a free, sovereign state.
