Cuba affirms commitment to peace and justice at Diplomatic Forum – Radio Florida, news and current affairs from Florida

HAVANA, March 13 – Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Anayance Rodriguez Camejo this Saturday reaffirmed her country’s commitment to peace, justice, development, welfare and respect for human rights, during The second Antalya Diplomatic Forum in Turkey.

As reported on her account on the social network Twitter, when interfering in the round table “Reframing Diplomacy”, Cuban diplomacy also rejected the unilateral coercive measures applied against developing countries and in violation of international law.

“In the “Recoding Diplomacy” Roundtable at AntalyaDF, I highlighted #Cuba’s commitment to peace, justice, development, welfare and respect for all human rights for all. It has rejected the application of unilateral coercive measures against developing countries and violates international law”, The official wrote.

During the forum, Rodriguez Camejo also participated in a panel discussion entitled “A Vision for Africa’s Development”, where he highlighted the historical bonds of brotherhood between Cuba and that continent.

He also highlighted the possibility of further strengthening these links, and the greater contribution of the Antilles to the development of Africa, through solidarity cooperation.

The agenda of the Cuban Deputy Minister in Turkey included meetings with the highest authorities of that country, during which the interest in strengthening bilateral relations is manifested.

And in a dialogue with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Eurasian State, Sedat Unal, the parties reiterated the good state of relations and interest in their further development.

Rodriguez Camejo also met with the Turkish Minister of Tourism and Culture, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, to exchange potentials and business and investment opportunities between the two countries.

According to the Cuban Foreign Ministry, the official will also hold meetings with diplomats from other countries participating in the forum, which runs until March 13.
