The Scottish referee Craig Napier He would go down in his country’s football history as the first openly gay character in Scottish football.
Napier, 32, is a Class A referee and explained that he has decided to share his sexual preference since mid-May Jake Danielsa 17-year-old player who plays for Blackpool FC, was the first footballer to come out as gay in the UK.
“It’s something I’ve lived with for a long time. It’s been a tough journey and it’s really important for people like me to be willing to do it,” the referee said.

This fact came to light when the Scottish Football Association published a video in which Craig Napier talks about it.
“I don’t think this should be news, but I think it is for now because we need see the change So people feel they can be themselves,” he said in the video.
After Napier declared the lower league referee, Lloyd WilsonHe also shared his sexual preference in an idea on his YouTube channel.
