Aspetar rewards young researchers for the advancement of sports medicine

For the third time in a row, the Aspetar Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Hospital presented the award to young researchers, during the 36th International Conference on Sports Medicine from 24 to 27 September in the Greek capital, Athens.

The award is given in honor of cooperation cooperation and joint efforts in developing sports medicine in the fields of research and education, as 4 young researchers will be honored during the event that is held periodically every two years, in favor and strengthening the efforts of young researchers, and reward them by introducing their work around the world.

Therefore, the award will encourage young researchers and clinicians to continue developing and applying the highest standards in scientific research in areas such as medicine, science and mathematics for the benefit of basic and clinical research projects.

It is a requirement for the award that candidates have completed six years of research or a medical residency degree, and they must not have a higher level than an associate professor.

The award jury consists of five experts and experienced doctors from Aspetar and the International Federation of Sports Medicine, who will evaluate the submitted works according to specific criteria and controls.

Since the signing of the royal partnership between Aspetar and the International Federation of Sports Medicine in 2016, Aspetar has played a pioneering role in presenting fruits to the International Conference on Sports Medicine, through the participation of Aspetar experts, who give lectures, debates and trainings. Workshops in the field of sports medicine.

The International Sports Medicine Conference is held annually in the presence of many scientists, doctors and researchers specializing in sports medicine, which is considered one of the most important events in this field.
