January 19, 2021 10:33 amLa Paz, January 19 (Prensa Latina) The Vice President of Bolivia, David Chuquihuanka, today confirmed his country’s respect and solidarity with the cause of the Palestinian people, in the battle to restore peace, freedom and their land usurped by Israel.
He also called for an end to the war and the ongoing intervention and fighting in the Gaza Strip.
On Monday, the Vice President participated in a virtual conference, hosted by Iran, for parliamentarians from countries that support Jerusalem and the Palestinian cause.
He stated on this forum that the crimes committed by the Zionist entity in Israel, especially against civilians, women and children, must not be forgotten, but rather should be tried in an exemplary manner.
Chukihuanka stressed that in this new time the occupation must end and the Palestinian refugee issue must be resolved fairly.
He stressed that the Bolivian government, under former President Evo Morales, and now Luis Ars, has always been one of the most vocal critics of the Israeli occupation and its crimes against the Palestinian people, expressing his strong support for their cause.
