On June 26, 835 applicants for medical, pharmacy and nursing degrees at the University of Quintana Roo passed the EXANI-II CENEVAL entrance examination on the campuses of Chetumal Bahia, Cozumel, Playa del Carmen and Cancun, in a disinfected environment and applying. Sanitary protocols as planned.
Nancy Quintal Garcia, Director General of Student Services, University of Quintana Roo has coordinated this entrance examination application for 835 applicants seeking one of the 120 places available for the Fall 2021 session who start at 8:00 AM. health protocols.
Exam results will be announced on July 20 on the UQRoo website from 6:00 pm, and accepted applicants must start the registration process from August 16-20. It should be noted that the admissions area of the campus will carry out the registration process and the student will later receive an email in which he will be provided with instructions to complete his registration.
From August 16 to 21, admitted applicants must be attentive to the Diagnostic Test Application and Placement in English and in the week of August 23 to 27, they will take an Introduction to University Program (PIU) which is mandatory. Classes on the Fall 2021 calendar will begin on August 30 across the university.
It must be remembered that with the approval of the University Council, the registration fee is 780 pesos for Mexican students who do not have some kind of scholarship that can be paid in monthly installments of 195 pesos from August until November.
It should be noted that on the Saturday developed according to the health protocol, out of a total of 896 applicants registered, 835 took the entrance examination, of which 546 applicants did so at the Chetumal Bahia campus; 51 in Cozumel, 124 in Cancun and 114 in Playa del Carmen.
Dr. Quintal Garcia confirmed that 93 per cent of registered applicants attended the entrance examination which is an affirmation of the quality of the three educational programs and estimates that the support provided by the university so that students do not travel to Chetumal for the EXANI-II CENEVAL application contributed to this achievement.
