This British island currently has seven cables of this type connected to the load of the Internet

The last one, which has just been completed, is 75 kilometers long

Recent sources have announced that work has been completed to install a submarine cable that provides internet in Manx waters with the aim of strengthening the island’s communications with Ireland and the United Kingdom. The 75 km fiber-optic cable has installation points at Port Erin and Port Grenaugh. A government spokesperson said the link would increase the flexibility and reliability of the island’s web connections.

The Prime Minister stated that this fact is “crucial” for future economic growth. Currently seven is the number of submarine cables connected to the Isle of Man. The spokesperson stated that having multiple cables would allow continuous communication if one of them was damaged. The installation was part of a larger project known as Celtix-Connect 2 which improves links between the UK, Ireland, continental Europe and the Americas.

Prime Minister Alfred Kanaan warned:Companies place great importance on the quality of our communication outside the islandSo I welcome the investment from Aqua Comms and its partners and I am happy to see the cable live.”
