For fans of The Walking Dead, AMC Networks has confirmed that production has already begun for a new show called “Isle of the Dead.” The distributor of Epic has announced that the premiere will be in 2023.

This new version will consist of 6 chapters based on the post-apocalyptic plot developed in New York. The script will focus on a reflection on the journey of Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) to Manhattan, long cut off from the mainland, where zombies and zombies coexist in a chaotic, dystopian world. horrified.

“Isle of the Dead” will be produced by Eli Jorné, who has a blanket deal with AMC Studios and has worked for several seasons on the original show as writer and co-executive producer. The series will also be overseen by Scott M. Gimbel, who holds the title of Chief Content Officer for The Walking Dead Universe.

The exact date of the premiere has not been confirmed, nor is it clear if it will include more than one season, but what will happen is that it will premiere in 2023.
