Pri0r1ty Intelligence buys Pirkx wellbeing platform for £50,000 plus royalty

The AI-focused SME software group adds over 10,800 paying members and a wellbeing platform to its buy-and-build strategy for a nominal upfront price.

Pri0r1ty Intelligence Group PLC (AIM: PR1) has struck a deal to acquire the operating assets and technology platform of Pirkx Limited, an SME-focused wellbeing and healthcare benefits provider, for a cash consideration of just £50,000 plus a capped 4% royalty on revenue over five years.

The transaction hands Pri0r1ty an existing base of more than 10,800 active paying members in the UK as of June 2026, along with a platform built on Pirkx's historical £5.4 million of investment in research and development, giving the AI-focused group a low-cost route to new users and cross-selling opportunities.

Pirkx, founded in 2018, offers SMEs and gig-economy workers access to 24/7 virtual GP services, telephone counselling, gym discounts and more than 2,500 retail cashback offers. For the year ended 30 April 2025 it reported turnover of £554,584 but a pre-tax loss of £965,000, with growth previously held back by manual administrative overheads and third-party support costs.

Pri0r1ty intends to migrate Pirkx's user base onto its own platform under a co-branded 'Pri0r1ty Pirkx' identity, deploying its proprietary AI tools – Vox, Advisor, Fan Sonar and Compass ID – to automate onboarding, customer support and sales renewals, which the company says should improve cash generation and operating margins.

The deal is framed by management as a template for further buy-and-build acquisitions, using Pirkx's SME distribution footprint to seed cross-selling of Pri0r1ty's higher-tier SaaS products. No share price reaction was disclosed in the source material, and investors will be watching for evidence that the promised AI-driven efficiencies translate into a swifter path to profitability for the enlarged group.
