More than 5,000 people are trained in AI in Spain with Founderz

Founderz AI, in collaboration with Microsoft, has become the largest AI Master’s degree in Europe with over 5,000 students. Now they’re taking the next step: launching an online course on Copilot, in collaboration with Microsoft. “AI challenges us to reinvent the way we do business, rethink processes and embrace innovation in all its forms,” said Pau Garcia Mella, CEO and co-founder of Founderz. The main program has also been launched in Portuguese, in collaboration with Microsoft Portugal

There are already more than 5,000 professionals who have chosen to learn about AI through the AI and Innovation Programme. A program launched in May by Founderz Business School, in collaboration with Microsoft, with the goal of democratizing learning about technologies that already represent the next industrial revolution.

At the beginning of the year, there was a technological breakthrough with the arrival of tools such as ChatGPT or Bing Chat. This has caused a wave of uncertainty around the idea that artificial intelligence could lead to the disappearance of millions of jobs. After a few months, it became possible to observe how this technology was naturally integrated into processes and tasks, increasing productivity and improving the working well-being of thousands of professionals. In fact, a study conducted by researchers from MIT suggests that teams that use ChatGPT feel more satisfied in their work.

In this context, AI training is positioned as an opportunity not only to improve processes, but also to choose future roles that will arise from the combination of technical skills and the application of new technologies. Hence, it is estimated that by 2030, between 6% and 9% of companies will need roles that do not yet exist.

Success story: Training 5,000 specialists in the field of artificial intelligence

*Since announcing the Founderz AI and Innovation Program*, the student community has not stopped growing. 1,500 students were reached in just one week, and today there are already 5,000 students. Professionals from diverse sectors like education, law, consulting, finance, marketing, etc.; But they all have something in common: a desire to take advantage of the opportunities presented by AI and to prepare for this new work reality.

The success of the program lies, on the one hand, in the participation of senior professionals from the Microsoft team (Spain, USA, UK) such as David Carmona, Esther De Nicolas, David Hurtado, Shazia Holtom, Mihaela Forforino or Paola Melero. Professionals with years of AI experience, no code and low code.

Additionally, after completing the master’s degree, students receive a Founderz certificate and free access to the Microsoft PL-900 certification exam.

Next stop: copilot

*In anticipation of the upcoming availability of Copilot, Founderz has announced an online Copilot training course, in collaboration with Microsoft.

Training by professionals of the caliber of Xiaopeng Li, AI Business Leader at Microsoft, who will demonstrate with practical examples how to triple productivity with Microsoft’s generative AI solutions.*

Global perspective

*Last September, the Master’s Degree was launched at Microsoft Portugal. This move enhances the international perspective of the programme. “Our goal is for anyone to be able to get a good education, not just in Spain. Launching in Portugal is only the first step,” says Pau Garcia Milla.
