An independent gift and homeware shop in Builth Wells, Powys, has expanded its range of Welsh-language birthday cards to 65 designs.
Wye Knot, based at 27 High Street and owned by Lisa Morris, made the change after customers asked for more Welsh-language birthday cards, according to the business.
The shop opened on 29 June 2026.
Customer-led stock changes
According to the business, the expanded card range is a small example of how an independent retailer is using direct customer requests to shape what it stocks.
