The self-care products group heads into next week's Final Results with its shares within touching distance of a 52-week high.
Venture Life Group (AIM: VLG) is drawing renewed attention from small-cap investors as its shares climb towards a year's high ahead of Final Results due next Tuesday, 29 September. The Bracknell-based consumer self-care company is now valued at £81m, with shares trading at 67.50p, up sharply from an early-May low of just 54p and closing in on the 72p peak reached earlier this year.
The rally reflects growing anticipation that Venture Life's newly restructured operations will feed through into a marked improvement in profitability, with some commentary pointing to earnings running at close to six times last year's level. That expectation has been enough to lure buyers back into the stock in recent weeks, reversing the sharp dip seen in the spring.

Venture Life develops and commercialises self-care consumer products, and the group has been in the midst of significant organisational change, the kind of transition that can be volatile for investors but potentially rewarding if it delivers the promised uplift in earnings. The move from a 54p low to current levels of 67.50p represents a gain of around 25% in a matter of months.
With the shares now sitting just below their 12-month high of 72p, the market appears to be positioning ahead of Tuesday's results rather than waiting for confirmation, a pattern often seen in AIM-listed names where liquidity is thinner and news flow can move the price quickly.
Attention now turns to whether next week's Final Results validate the optimism already priced into the stock. Investors will be looking for firm detail on margins, cash generation and trading momentum from the restructured business to justify a push beyond the current year's high, while any disappointment could see recent gains unwind given how far the shares have already run.
