A four-year government consortium deal takes the public-sector IT specialist's backlog to £115m and triggers its second guidance upgrade of the year.
Made Tech (AIM: MTEC) has secured the largest contract in its history, a four-year public-sector consortium award worth around £40m to the company over its life, prompting the board to raise its FY27 guidance for the second time this year.
The upgrade follows the win of a UK government department contract in which Made Tech is one of several consortium partners. Revenue from the deal will only begin to be recognised in FY27, ramping up through FY28, but the scale of the award has been enough to lift near-term expectations well ahead of where the market had been pricing the business.

The board now expects FY27 revenue of £63m to £66m and adjusted EBITDA of £6.3m to £6.6m, both described as ahead of current market expectations, marking the second time in 2026 that guidance has been raised. The company's contracted backlog has swelled to around £115m, giving management greater visibility over revenue well into FY27 and beyond.
Chief executive Rory MacDonald called the award 'the largest contract award in our history' and said it endorsed the group's position 'at the centre of a number of critical programmes across government', while reinforcing the board's confidence in Made Tech's medium-term growth trajectory.
Attention now turns to Made Tech's full-year results for FY26, due in September, where investors will be looking for further detail on margin progression and how quickly the new consortium contract and the wider £115m backlog convert into billed revenue.
