Nothing Unveils CMF Clip Pro Open-Ear Earbuds with Smart Dial and Launch Discount

Nothing has expanded its audio lineup with the launch of the CMF Clip Pro, a new pair of open-ear wireless earbuds priced at $99.99. As part of the introductory offer, customers can purchase the earbuds for $79.99 during the initial launch period before the standard retail price takes effect later this month.

The CMF Clip Pro becomes the second open-ear audio product from Nothing, following the earlier Nothing Ear (open), but introduces a different wearing style designed for users who want to remain aware of their surroundings while listening to music or taking calls.

Clip-On Open-Ear Design

Unlike the Nothing Ear (open), which wraps around the back of the ear, the CMF Clip Pro clips onto the outside of the ear. The speaker sits close to the ear canal without sealing it, allowing ambient sounds to remain audible while delivering audio playback.

This design is aimed at users who exercise outdoors, commute, or simply prefer an open listening experience without completely blocking environmental noise.

10.8mm Drivers and Enhanced Bass

The earbuds feature 10.8mm dynamic drivers housed in lightweight earpieces weighing 5.92 grams each.

To improve low-frequency performance—often a challenge for open-ear headphones—Nothing has included its Ultra Bass Technology, which is designed to deliver stronger bass while maintaining the benefits of an open listening experience.

Battery Life and Smart Dial Controls

Nothing claims the CMF Clip Pro offers up to 10 hours of playback on a single charge. Combined with the charging case, total battery life extends to 32.5 hours.

A standout feature is the return of the company’s Smart Dial, integrated into the charging case. The dial allows users to adjust volume, control music playback, and answer phone calls without needing to reach for their smartphone.

Colours, Pricing and Availability

The CMF Clip Pro is available in three colour options:

  • Coral
  • Light Grey
  • Dark Grey

Pre-orders are now open at the introductory price of $79.99, while the regular retail price of $99.99 will apply later this month.

The earbuds are also available for pre-order through Amazon, with shipments expected to begin on 15 August.
