AstroAgency Secures Transatlantic Partnerships as North America Expansion Gathers Pace

Edinburgh, 19 August 2025 — Edinburgh-based AstroAgency, the UK’s pioneering strategic communications and market intelligence firm dedicated to the commercial space sector, has announced two significant transatlantic agreements as it accelerates its expansion into North America.

The company has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with US-headquartered Voyager Technologies and Cislunar International, setting the stage for a six-month campaign to broaden its presence across the United States and Canada. The agreements mark the latest step in AstroAgency’s ambition to establish a permanent foothold in North America, the world’s most mature space market.

Partnerships to Drive Growth

Under the first agreement, AstroAgency will work with Voyager Technologies to enhance stakeholder engagement on both sides of the Atlantic, provide strategic marketing support, and contribute to the development of VISTA, a new science park initiative. The plan includes AstroAgency establishing a North American office at VISTA as the project progresses.

“AstroAgency’s establishment at VISTA is a reflection of our shared belief that in-space research starts with collaboration here on Earth,” said Jeffrey Manber, president, International & Space Stations, Voyager Technologies. “Our science park lays the foundation for a truly international ecosystem, one that accelerates discovery, fosters innovation and ensures space can benefit all of humanity.”

The second MOU, with Washington and Texas-based Cislunar International, deepens a long-standing relationship between the firms. Cislunar, co-founded by Sam Peterson — an advisor to AstroAgency since 2023 — provides tailored support to aerospace businesses. The partnership will focus on strengthening joint services for their expanding international client bases.

Industry Profile Rising in the US

The agreements follow AstroAgency’s active participation in last week’s Small Satellite Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah. Director Daria Filichkina joined a panel alongside representatives from the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Astroscale and the Secure World Foundation, further raising the company’s profile in North America.

“We’re excited to deepen our North American partnerships and bring our experience in delivering bold, impactful campaigns and strategic guidance to companies across the United States and Canada,” said Daniel Smith, CEO of AstroAgency. “After six years of pioneering this niche service, backed by more than 100 project case studies, SmallSat offered the perfect launchpad for our next chapter.”

The signing with Voyager in Colorado was attended by officials from the UK Department for Business and Trade, while the wider Utah mission was organised by Scottish Development International. Both events underline AstroAgency’s growing emphasis on international collaboration, sustainable space practices and stakeholder engagement.

Building on Global Experience

Since its founding in 2019 as the world’s first full-service marketing agency for the space industry, AstroAgency has worked with more than 80 organisations worldwide, including space agencies, satellite manufacturers, launch providers and Earth observation specialists. Clients have ranged from Spire Global and Hydrosat to government bodies such as the UK Space Agency and the European Space Agency.

The firm’s track record in North America includes past projects with NovaSpace, PCI Geomatics, the Secure World Foundation and TerraMetric. More recently, AstroAgency secured its first collaboration with NASA, a milestone that underscores its growing influence in the region.

Canadian talent already features in its international team, and the company is investing fresh resources and senior leadership attention to consolidate its presence in both the US and Canada. The move comes as Canada’s own space sector experiences rapid growth, complementing the scale and maturity of the American market.

Expanding Global Reach

AstroAgency’s expansion comes on the back of a series of international collaborations. These include work with the United Nations, the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre, and government agencies in Australia and Scotland. Earlier this year, the company also signed its first Japanese client, Axelspace, following a trade mission to Tokyo.

With its latest transatlantic agreements, AstroAgency is positioning itself to help more organisations understand and harness the potential of space as an enabler of economic growth, environmental resilience and daily life on Earth.

As Smith summed up: “After six years of pioneering this niche service… SmallSat offered the perfect launchpad for our next chapter.”
