Prince William has always been concerned about the relationship between his brother and Meghan Markle, says author Tina Brown in her latest book, Palace Papers.
Brown wrote: “A person close to the Duke of Cambridge told me that William thought she should have taken more time to build a life in the UK and make friends who were not always hidden from the palace.”
“It was tough enough for Kate, but Meghan was a charming actress who would be the first black woman in the royal family, factors that would add a lot of pressure to the stress.”
“Without telling Harry, the source said his older brother was so afraid his mental weakness was that he didn’t have the strength to deal with all of that for his wife, as well as address his issues,” Brown added, noting this. Harry’s ex-girlfriend, Cressida Bonas, has asked the prince to go to therapy to fix her mental health issues.
Remember that Meghan and Harry announced their engagement in November 2017, just a year after announcing their relationship. They married in April 2018.
