AIM quoted oil and gas exploration company President Petroleum (LON:PPC) has received better than expected results from logging and test work on Well DP-1001 in the Dos Puntitas field in Argentina.

President Petroleum (LON:PPC) said today that its acquisition last year of a 50 percent stake in an Argentine oilfield was looking like an increasingly good deal after the first well of a multi-well campaign hit a 32 metre gross oil column, with 28 metres of expected net pay.
