Strong order book buoys Parkwood

Revenues at Parkwood Holdings increased by 14% to £108.1 million in the year to 31 December 2007, as the public sector support services specialist continued to build its order book and integrate new acquisitions.
The company reported that profit before tax and exceptionals increased by 13% to £3.1 million with it order book up by 29% to £532 million.
Parkwood said that further strategic acquisitions by Glendale, its ‘green services’ division, in Scotland and the south-west strengthened the division's Grounds Maintenance and Countryside activities.
