Scott Wilson boosts metro expertise with latest consultancy acquisition

Wednesday, May 28, 2008

Scott Wilson Group, the international design and engineering consultancy, has sealed a deal to buy Terence Lee Partnership, a mechanical and electrical building services consultancy, for up to £1.3 million.

Scott Wilson and Terence Lee Partnership have been collaborating on a number of London Underground projects for more than six years. Scott Wilson said the move represented an important step in its strategy to grow a robust UK and International metro capability.

Terence Lee Partnership was founded in 1978 and is based in London. In the year ended 31 October 2007, it posted revenues of £0.8 million and pre-tax profits of £0.2 million.

Scott Wilson’s chairman, Geoff French, said the acquisition strengthened his company’s metro ability and would enable it to take greater advantage of the growing international markets in the sector.
