Roxi Petroleum (RXP) announced a successful test of the first two NW Konus wells, on the Galaz Contract Area, in Kyzylorda Oblast, Central Kazakhstan. Average daily test production from NW Konus field is currently 1000bopd.

Cadogan Petroleum (CAD) has reduced its drilling operations in Ukraine from five rigs to one. Four wells on the Pokrovskoe, Pirkovskoe and Zagoryanska licences have been suspended while management undertake analysis of the data obtained to date. Drilling operations on the Borynya #3 well continue towards its target depth of 5,200 metres.

Cadogan added that under interim Chief Executive Officer, Ian Baron, it remains on track to complete a strategic and operational review by end 2Q or early 3Q.

Caza Oil and Gas (CAZA) and Endeavour International (ENDV) expect to drill nine exploration wells during 2009 on Caza's onshore US acreage. Drilling is expected to start in the next few weeks. Endeavour will fund the acquisition, exploration and appraisal activity costs attributable to Caza's interest in these assets to earn 75% of Caza's participating interest. Caza will remain as programme operator.

Pan Andean Resources (PRE) said an aero-gravimetric and magnetometric survey has commenced on Block 141 in the Titicaca basin of the Peruvian Andes, close to Lake Titicaca. The survey will acquire 7,348 kilometres of data covering the entire block.

Tower Resources (TRP) has confirmed that the drilling rig for the Iti-1 exploration well has arrived on site in Uganda from Sudan and is being rigged up. Tower expects to spud the well on or shortly after 25 May 2009. AIM listed Global Petroleum (GBP) is farming -in to the licence.

TXO (TXO) produced 38,284 barrels of oil from its onshore US acreage in the year to 31 March 2009 versus 41,935 in the previous year.

GeoPark Holdings (GPK) has raised US$11.7 million in an oversubscribed placing of new shares at 225 pence per share. The proceeds will be used to further strengthen GeoPark's balance sheet and support its 2009 investment programme in Chile and Argentina.

Ascent Resources (AST) has entered into an agreement with GEM Global Yield Fund for an equity line of credit of up to £5 million to assist in funding exploration projects not
covered by production revenue, and if appropriate, to finance investments in additional exploration projects that are outside the investment profile of the Ascent/San
Severina asset management joint venture announced in October 2008.

Petrel Resources (PET) has raised £1,840,500 in a placing of new shares at a price of 45p with three long-standing institutional shareholders. The funds will be used as working capital to advance Petrel's projects in Iraqi oil exploration & development, and fully covers Petrel's existing and normally anticipated working capital requirements till end 2010.

Endeavour International Corporation (ENDV) has closed the sale of its Norwegian subsidiary, Endeavour Energy Norge AS, to VNG- Verbundnetz Gas AG, for the total consideration of US$150 million.

Northern Petroleum (NOP) has received the preliminary award of two offshore Italian permits covering the offshore extension of the Crotone and Rossano basins.

Leed Petroleum (LDP) has been awarded the Eugene Island 133 and Ship Shoal 197 leases in the Central Gulf of Mexico Minerals Management Services Lease Sale 208. Leed will have a 75% working interest in the leases.

Bowleven (BLVN) has appointed Tim Sullivan as a non-executive director. Tim has 35 years experience in the oil and gas industry, primarily with Conoco, Getty Oil and Enterprise Oil, before establishing Revus Energy in 2002.

Thom Board has resigned as CEO of Enegi Oil (ENEG) with immediate effect. Alan Minty, the Chairman and former Chief Executive Officer, will take over until a suitable replacement is found.
