New survey results boost reserves for Rockhopper
26 August 2008
Rockhopper Exploration said today that further technical work done on its seismic survey data had increased the level of P50 unrisked reserves over its PL032 and PL033 licences in the North Falkland Basin from 1.2 billion barrels recoverable to 1.8 billion barrels recoverable.
The company said it was continuing to meet with potential farm-in partners and was separately discussing rig availability with rig owners.
The new survey results mean that Rockhopper’s total P50 unrisked reserves have reached 4.3 billion barrels recoverable.
