Interim figures fall at Zone-IP as projects over-run

Delays in closing several key projects in the US and China led to a fall in revenues at Zone-IP in the first six months of the year to June 2008.
The Israeli technology business which runs Emblaze-VCON, a video over-IP conferencing specialist, said it was hoping to close the delayed contracts during the second half.
As a result of the problems, interim sales fell to US$2.4 million from US$3.0 million last time. Net loss were broadly the same at US$1.7 million.
Zone-IP said Emblaze VCON had spent the first six months of the year reorganising its existing product line and introducing the next generation of room systems. It said this would assist it in competing in various tenders.
