DawMed wins major contract from East Kent Hospitals NHS Trust

DawMed, the AIM listed medical device company that specialises in decontamination equipment, has been awarded a major contract for the East Kent Hospitals NHS Trust.
The contract is one of the largest contracts that DawMed has ever undertaken and covers four hospitals over a wide area of East Kent, namely, Canterbury, Margate, Ashford and Folkestone.
The whole project is underway and is anticipated to be completed by the end of April 2008.
Executive chairman, Kevin Gilmore, described the contract win as a “meaningful positive” for DawMed.
The company’s preliminary results for the year ended 30 September 2007 are due on 20 March 2008 together with a trading update.
