Antrim starts drilling second exploration well

Antrim Energy, the AIM and Toronto listed oil and gas exploration and production company, has started drilling at the second of two exploration wells on its
Medianera licence in the Rio Negro Province in central Argentina. Antrim holds a 70% working interest in the Medianera licence.
Based on 3D seismic acquired in 2006, the second well M3001 targets a Cretaceous sequence at a depth of 1,400 metres. The well, which is located 2km west
of the first well (M3002), is expected to take approximately 14 days to drill.
The first exploration well (M3002) was drilled to target depth and cased in preparation for testing with results expected in early July.
