Amino Technologies to supply set top boxes to China

Amino Technologies plc is to fulfil an initial order from Chengdu USEE Digital Technology Co. Ltd, of the Peoples Republic of China, for 10,000 IP Multimedia Terminal Devices (set-top boxes) for delivery in early 2007; significant additional orders for delivery during 2007 are also expected.
Under the terms of a Memorandum of Understanding, Amino and USEE plan to collaborate closely in respect of development, production, marketing and sales to provide broadband network added value services within the PRC.
Amino and USEE will also co-develop additional products incorporating Amino's IntAct software stack in order to provide applications such as AVS (advanced audio and video standard) codec technology, video telephone application (VTA), VoIP, gaming, etc.
